Signature piece from Vivienne Westwood's 'Salon' collection. The corset is adorned with metallic foil print motifs inspired by furniture jeweler, André-Charles Boulle. The Boulle print has been carried over from the Winter 1990 'Portrait' collection to the 'Salon' collection for Spring/Summer 1992.
Runway photos of similar iterations of the corset in our collection have been added for reference.
Long sleeve with boning throughout. Zips up back. There is crackling on the metallic screen printed decoration, as is common on these pieces. Still in great, wearable condition. Very slight stretch.
