Doris Raymond’s The Way We Wore boutique is the ultimate shopping destination for vintage fashion and the home of the hit TV show "LA Frock Stars" which first aired in the U.S. on Smithsonian Channel.

In 2004,  this retail boutique and adjacent design inspiration space relocated to Los Angeles and was an instant success,  providing an endless supply of premium vintage clothing, jewelry and accessories with contemporary appeal as well as inspiration pieces to every kind of designer-  from many of the great couture houses to mass-produced popular labels.

Merchandise at The Way We Wore is curated by Doris Raymond, whose keen eye has been honed from over forty years of experience in the business.  The selection within the store spans the best in vintage from the twentieth century, ranging from haute couture to the more esoteric and avant garde.  The main floor is organized by decade while the upstairs is where the haute couture, red carpet and ultra rare pieces can be found.  Museum-quality and highly sought-after pieces are also shown by appointment.

Avid vintage shoppers no longer have to spend hours trying to score quality vintage fashion among rack and bins because the collection on this site has been personally curated for by Doris herself. The site features everything from designer originals to New Old Stock (#NOS) and many pieces that are New With Tags (#NWT) from the 20th to the early 21st century.

To keep things exciting, a selection of true vintage and contemporary treasures from the Edwardian period through the 2000s - are rolled out each week.
