A rare piece from Donatella Versace's second collection for the house, Fall/Winter 1998—one of the most iconic and collectible Versace seasons. This sleek black silk sheath is elevated into pure Versace glitz with rhinestone shoulder straps accented with bursts of beaded starbursts that have the look (but not the feel!) of glamorous barbed wire. So quintessentially 90s, yet so timelessly elegant in its simplicity. The dress features a built-in mesh bodysuit to keep lines clean and the dress perfectly in place. Fully lined. In excellent vintage condition.
