Va va voom! A 1980's Fuchsia fever dream of a gown by the American designer, Victor Costa. Costa's creations have a penchant for drama in a way that captures the best of the saturated fantasy and glamour of the late '80s. This gown has been masterfully crafted with a gorgeous silk taffeta with a subtle sheen that catches the light. The bold fuchsia is just a few shades away from hot pink. The silk taffeta is ruched in a shimmying figure-hugging shape down the bodice and hips. A delicious ruffle detail around the bust wraps diagonally down the front and back to meet the tier of ruffles below the hip. The skirt of the gown gives a column silhouette with the addition of a gathered swag at the left side. The exterior is composed of silk and the interior is fully lined in satin acetate. Side zip closure. Interior corset boning throughout the bodice to support the strapless silhouette.This is a gorgeous statement-making gown that reads fabulously editorial as the silk taffeta photographs like an oil painting.
