This 1950s/60s Taxco Mexican Silver Bracelet is crafted beautifully with flat shapes of x’s, o’s in the style of William Spratling's Fertility Bracelet. You can see Spratling's influence on so much of the silver jewelry that came out of Mexico at that time. This bracelet has 6 articulating parts and each piece is hand cut and chased- way before laser cuts!! Tab insert clasp for closure. Around 1979, the silver maker's stamps changed to including an alphanumeric system that helps identify the workshops. I think the maker is "Plata de Taxco". In great vintage condition.
