An incredibly chic and equally English offering from the beloved British designer, Stella McCartney from her Spring 2006 collection. A classic half trench just long enough to cover your mini dress. The design is finished with all of the traditional bells and whistles from the WWI era origins such as the practical throat latch, a design element to block wind and rain with a simple buckle at the neck. Matte brass hardware throughout. Adjustable fastenings throughout including the buckled waist belt, adjustable pleat buckle at the back of the coat, and the buckles at either cuff. The elbows of the coat are implemented with brass rivets for air circulation for a prompt post-rain dry down. Hidden double-breasted internal snaps. Trapunto top-stitching at the shoulders. Pockets at the hips and inside the left breast. Not fully lined. Cotton blend.
Labelled a 38. Best fits a US Small or Extra Small.
Overall great condition with one small surface stain on the underside of the collar shown in the 13th photo.
