A rare and collectible intriguing jumpsuit from Rick Owens' FW 2015 Sphinx collection. The aptly named Sphinx collection featured contorted silhouettes and one-piece garments styled in layers in a way we rarely see in menswear. The collection caused an internet sensation with it's debut for the scandalous runway stylings. Although intended to be a subversive jumpsuit for the male identifying, this simplistic piece is clearly highly androgynous. Effortlessly cool and lends itself easy to styling and seasonal layering.
The relaxed jumpsuit has wide-set shoulders and a v-neckline at the chest. The loose shape of the body tapers into an inverted triangle with the narrow pant hem. The matte viscose blend fabric is a deep, de-saturated dark indigo. Classic Owens industrial zipper down the center back. Hidden pockets at the hips. Composed of a matte-back viscose acetate blend with the matte side as the exterior and the smooth, satin finish as the interior. The seams are enclosed with silk and the pockets are lined with cupro.
Labelled an IT 38 and a US 4. Intended as oversized.
