At the Comme des Garcons Spring 1996 show, Rei Kawakubo announced "red is the new black". Her use of color in this collection is kaleidoscopic and full of life. Pieces from this runway show are highly collectible, and to find two that were both featured is a real dream for fanatics and fashion lovers alike. The pink knit sweater vest depicts a geometric pattern in shades of hot pink, maroon, and grey. The harem pants are semi-sheer with an elastic waist band and cropped silhouette. The pants depict a rectangular print in shades of hot pink, indigo, purple, red, charcoal, and black. High waisted with a low, harem drop-crotch. Both unlined, both pull-on style with no closures. Excellent condition.

Both labeled a Medium.
