Pierre Cardin early 1980's gold-plated swag belt with dark amber colored resin square deco lozenges. Two gold tone chains secure the four resin lozenges with a pronged setting. Finished with an ornate clasp for a secure fit. Engraved "Cardin" cartouches on the back of each lozenge. Elegant, sophisticated, and understated.
Good vintage condition. Light surface scratches and gentle signs of wear. A small area of the gold tone on one of the resin settings is flaking but not noticeable when worn. An one lozenge has a larger area that peeled off. Please see Photo 5. Price reflects the condition.
Typically styled to sit below the waist and above the hip. Best fits a Medium to Large.
