This late 1950's pale aqua blue evening gown gives us visions of Grace Kelly elegance. The gown is composed of a luxurious satin with just the right amount of shine to catch someone's eye. The satin is adorned with a jumbo irises in shaved velvet. Classic late '50s nipped waist silhouette with ample room in the bosom and a wide slight v-neckline. Sexy plunging low back. The waist is emphasized with a bow on the left side of the waist. The skirt is fully lined and the gown zips close up the back. Unlabelled but beautifully constructed.
Excellent vintage condition.
Best fits a modern US 6 or 8. Once upon a time this would have more than likely been worn with shape-wear of some sort, so keep that in mind when contemplating fit. May be fun to find a modern merry widow to wear to give that va va voom hourglass late 1950's silhouette!
