Romantic and regal J. Mendel S/S 2013 gown as seen on the runway. Diaphanous layers of pleated silk georgette make up the flowing skirt. Sheer bishop sleeves gather at the 3/4 arm for a touch of Thea Porter bohemian bliss. The bodice features a sultry plunging V-neckline. The natural waist is cinched and elongated with horizontal paneled pleats contrasting the vertical lines of the gown. An elegant back keyhole detail draws attention to the V created at the back waist to the hip—very flattering. Rows of raw-edge ruffles begin at the side-hips and extend down to the skirt's raw hem. Fully lined, the dress is complete with an invisible zipper along the center back as well as hook and eye closure at the top of the keyhole. This gown has all the makings of an unforgettable look.
