A classic pencil skirt from Frida Giannini's gorgeous Lee Miller-inspired Fall 2007 collection for Gucci. This seemingly straightforward little black skirt utilizes an assortment of textures and techniques to create a dynamic and tactile piece. The majority of the skirt is a black bias-rib faille with geometric accents of knit jersey and corduroy. The back of the waist is adorned with a 1940's style detail of an extended button tab. This ornamental feature was commonly seen in sailor trousers and such. The two buttons are silver chrome with the Gucci house monogram. The skirt is fully lined. High waisted and above the knee length. Hidden zip closure beneath the side back seam. Slight stretch at the hips to hug the curves. Pair with a fitted sweater for the total pinup effect.

Labelled an IT 38. Fits like a US 4.
