A gorgeous Gucci dress dating to 2007, Frida Giannini's second year at the Italian Luxury House. We love the clear 1970's-does-1940's inspiration of this 21st Century dress with the '40s silhouette and the '70s style matte jersey. The self-fabric waist belt anchors the dress with a shiny pale gold-tone 'G' hardware pendants that hang from either end of the jersey tie belt. Sweet and sophisticated wrap bodice with 1940's style twisted gather at the shoulder draws the eye up from the top-stitched inset waist panel detail. Close-cut short sleeves. The vibrant Kelly green jersey is luxurious to the touch with a beautiful matte finish. Knee length. Unlined. Hidden inset zipper at the side.
A rare dress from this era and is incredibly versatile . There are few dresses we feel are genuinely equipped with the styling potential of the true, true sought after day-to-night super power, but she has earned it! Bravo, Frida.
