This absolutely stunning gown by James Galanos is a masterpiece of the glittering 1980's opulence. The silk shell gown is fully adorned with sea foam blue-green bugle beads with oblong prong-set rhinestone detail. The sparkling rhinestones are prong-set with silver-toned backing. The lines created by these rhinestone 'V's give a flattering illusion to the figure-hugging silhouette. Modest full length sleeves and crew neckline. The gown hem falls to the floor with a vent pleat at the back of the calf for ease of movement rather than a slit. Classic sophisticated '80s shoulder pads. Fully lined in silk chiffon and delicately fluted at back hem. The gown finishes with a zipper down the back and at the sleeve cuffs. Slightly narrow hip with a less fitted waist. No stretch.
