A darling Early 20th Century to late 19th Century European keepsake likely hailing from Italy or Germany. The intricate filigree work is composed of 800 silver. Two teeny tiny stamps mark the pendant with one on the locket backing and one on the filigree backing. This piece has both the pin-back and loop to make this fashionable as a brooch or pendant on a necklace. The backing of the piece shows where the frame could once be opened, although we would advise to proceed with caution as this is an antique. The glass casing displays hand painted flowers rather than a portrait. Romantic and charming.
