Chanel gold plated chain link earrings dating to Coco Chanel's lifetime, circa Mid Century. These are truly a collectible and heirloom-worthy costume jewelry find. The simple 'CHANEL' stamp places these earrings into the window of 1954-1971. Chanel reopened her Rue Cambon shop after closing for WWII in the year 1954. After Coco Chanel's passing in 1971, the new owner of Chanel began to place trademark signs on the jewelry Chanel produced. These timeless clip-on earrings provide the perfect finishing touch to any outfit, Chanel or otherwise.
Very good condition commensurate with age. Faint surface scratches and minimal wear to the gold plating. Subtle oxidation seen only when examining the inside from the back.
