A fabulous Chanel coat from Lagerfeld's beloved and sought after Spring/Summer 1997 collection. This delicious overcoat comes in a peachy pink with flecks of a candy-colored Lesage bouclé with metallic strands woven into the tweed. Simple, straightforward, classic Chanel coat silhouette consisting of a petite collar, button-up closure down the front, buttons at the cuffs, and envelope pockets at the bust and hips. The coat is adorned with clear resin buttons with raised gold-toned Chanel monograms. The metallic strands are light-catching, iridescent tinsel in various pale pastels. The lining is a printed silk crêpe de chine with a dreamy pale pink, blue, and yellow abstract watercolor floral motif.
Great vintage condition. Gentle signs of wear and love. This tweed has an intentional slight fringe to the bouclé that you can see in the closeup photos. The label is a bit faded.
There is one button missing on the left sleeve cuff.
