Absolutly ravishing Louis Feraud Couture gown from the Spring 1999 collection. This gown was a show-stopping reveal on the runway. The earthy tertiary hues of olive, mauve, charcoal, terracotta, and oxblood red have an iridescent quality from the luxurious silk taffeta. This sculptural couture gown is expertly ruched for a flattering fit. The body-hugging sheath is adorned with wired "wings" sprouting from waist and hips down to the hem. The rows of stacked color-blocked silk taffeta narrows at the dress hem with double side slits. Fully lined and zips up side. A rare and collectible piece of 1990's fashion history.
Very good vintage condition with gentle signs of age throughout, notably at the wired wings. Marked down to reflect this condition and sold "as is". Please inquire with any additional questions about the condition.
