Sweet and sexy black mini dress from Chanel's Summer 2007 collection, as seen on the runway. Lagerfeld channels the roots of the house with the 1920's-style drop-waist and blouson dress silhouette. This dress feels like a modern (and very mini!) interpretation of the LBD meets schoolgirl chic. Beautifully constructed from a lightweight viscose crepe chiffon in a deep, dark shade of midnight blue. The top-stitched pleated blouson bodice is complemented by an elegant boat neckline and capped sleeves. The waist is flattered by a fitted panel from the waist to the high hip which flows seamlessly into the delicately top-pleated mini dress skirt. The blouson is composed of two layers of crepe chiffon and the skirt is comprised of a single layer top-pleated semi-sheer crepe chiffon. The back is adorned with a row of carved Chanel logo buttons. Hidden zipper closure at the back.
Excellent condition, one small snag.
The label is quite faded and the size cannot be made out.
Fits like a modern US 2 or 4. The intended fit is slightly relaxed.
