Stavropoulos '70s Emerald Green Silk Chiffon Gown & Scarf
Absolutely stunning emerald green gown from the Greek master of all things diaphanous, Mr. Stavropoulos. It was said that his gowns "seemed to float on air". The airiness of this gown is created by the four full layers of emerald green silk chiffon. The entire gown is cut on the bias, meaning yards and yards of silk were used to make this beautiful gown. The sleek silhouette and scarf pairing open up the silhouette to infinite creations. We've shown seven unique silhouettes here, but the possibilities are endless. Truly a piece to cherish forever in your wardrobe.
The back closure consists of a painted metal zipper with delicate covered buttons covering the zipper. There is one small bit of darkening to the fabric in the back at the bottom of the hem. Otherwise excellent condition.
Entire gown is cut on a bias so the gown lends itself to a range of sizes.
