Christian Dior Autumn/Winter 1971 Haute Couture by Marc Bohan. The vibrant shade of magenta silk elevates the elegant silhouette and sophisticated tailoring of the dress. Ornamental covered buttons adorn both sleeves and the left side from the waist down. Leg slit detail gives the cheeky illusion of unbuttoned buttons down the left side. Crepe silk twill exterior fully lined in slipper silk. Hand sewn couture construction. Timelessly chic and effortless. Zipper down the back. Deaccessioned from a museum.
Excellent overall condition. One decorative button at the leg slit is missing.
