The Valentino Spring 1990 collection was all about tiers upon tiers of fabulously frilly ruffles. Delicate and feminine, the micro-pleated silk chiffon ruffles and ruching decorate and elevate the silhouette of this Valentino Boutique dress. The dress's black sheer silk chiffon flutter sleeves mimic the soft pleated layering of the skirt. The bodice has boning beneath the beautiful crossover bust. The waist panel has boning as well beneath the accordion pleated waist panel. The bodice is fully lined in satin. The dress closes with a hidden back zipper with a hook and eyelet closure at the nape of the neck.
