You'll outshine the midnight sky in this spectacular little evening ensemble by Badgley Mischka. This three-piece set is a rare early piece by the brand dating to around 1988-1990. The ensemble consists of a skirt, camisole, and long sleeve cardigan.
All pieces in the set are covered in dense beadwork consisting of root beer colored bugle beads in a lattice argyle motif. The cuffs of the cardigan as well as the hem of the skirt and cardigan are adorned in swirling filigree bead motifs consisting of iridescent seed beads, root beer bugle beads, and sequins. The intricate beadwork is on a delicate net lace. The blouse and skirt are lined in silk and both pieces have zip and hook closures at the side. The skirt has a wide brown silk waistband and a mini silhouette.
Overall very good condition with small spots of loose beads at points of stress such as the shoulder (cardigan) and side zipper (blouse). Beaded all over so missing beads are not so easy to spot.
