A rare, documented 1960’s ensemble from Bonnie Cashin for Sills. The documentation of her sketch and fabric swatch dates this to approximately 1966. The coat also has the label for the California boutique, Kramer's.
The charcoal grey and off-white knit wool jersey is woven in a distinct and mesmerizing motif that almost gives an animal print illusion. The jacket has a true-to-the-era preppy half-sleeve and petite rounded collar to pair with the straight silhouette. The jacket is punctuated with an off-white leather trim at the hems. The interior lining of the coat matches the pink wool jersey dress of the ensemble. The jacket closes with matte gold buttons. Pockets at either side.
The knit jersey dress is a true shade of pink with a complementing pink suede belt that matches the trim throughout the dress. Pull-on style, no closure. Scoop neckline. Unlined.
In great vintage condition. Gentle signs of age.
