An incredibly rare piece by Maison Martin Margiela dating to the Autumn Winter 1998/ 1999 collection. This is a highly collectible piece and it is unlikely you will see another one of these available soon. Raw edged cut leather with a painted black exterior and raw-hide, unlined interior. Simplistic avant garde construction by the master. Adjustable pinafore apron straps with three strap lengths. Fashion meets function with the four large utilitarian patch pockets.
Great condition. Slight distress to the black paint exterior although it may be somewhat of an intentional aspect of the design. Appears unworn due to the condition of the raw-hide interior. Reflection on the leather is not damage.
