Crinkle pleat Issey Miyake blouse from Fall/Winter 1999. Miyake is the master of manipulating synthetics to his tactile visions. The blouse has a high mockneck and is composed of a slightly sheer poly in a distinct popcorn-style crinkle. The crumpled pleating has a mind of its own with an asymmetrical hem to finish the silhouette. The neck closes at the back with a chic keyhole button. This piece perfectly demonstrates Miyake's innovative pleating techniques that make the designs both comfortable and effortlessly cool.
Great vintage condition. There are two tiny holes on the right shoulder (see photo 5) that should be unnoticeable when worn. Price reflects the minor condition issue.
