This wonderful 1950's piece is nothing like the souvenirs you find today, this jacket has been thoughtfully designed in a delicious silhouette at the height of style of the day. The jacket closes with a single button below the mandarin collar and falls into a breezy, open shape with wide and cropped kimono sleeves. The screen-print depicts traditional Mayan motifs and hieroglyphs in a time capsule celebration of ancient Mexican artistry. Hand painted print detail in overlapping contrast in soft black and gold with faint flecks of shimmer. Printed on a finely woven breathable slub cotton and fully lined in a gorgeous satin in lilac. Hidden welt pockets at the hips. Rare and collectible!
