An important 1985 Issey Miyake with exquisite Irving Penn documentation. Two giants in their respective fields—Penn and Miyake highlighted the genius in each other's artistry. This 1980s Miyake blends trends of the day with his deep interest in Japanese heritage and traditional global dyeing techniques. The coarsely woven tunic is composed of soft gauzy cotton, silk, and linen blend with black nylon sleeves. Surprisingly cozy! Large circular side pockets at the hips, button closure down the front. Rare. Labeled size Medium, unisex. Fits a range of sizes. In excellent condition.
