60s Wrangler Jeans with Abstract Technicolor Leather Patchwork
These late 50s/early 60's Wranglers were the perfect canvas for the creative mind who created this technicolor dream. Every element of customization is utilized in this art-piece; patchwork pockets, flared bells, wild shapes throughout. This is a STUNNER piece. The two front starburst pockets bring the star-power. Abstract shapes flutter wildly around these pants creating a color pop of happiness! Gripper-Zipper indicative of late 50s early 60s Blue Bell models. As both front and back pockets have been modified, it is hard to determine exact model of denim. Additionally, to create a more dramatic bell leg, the artist modified the stitching leaving us at a loss if this was selvedge denim. Regardless, this piece is an incredible testament to the artistic vision utilizing American denim history. Great condition, loose threads throughout as this was completely restitched. Shows signs of wear and aging on leather seams but leather in bright technicolor condition. Lots of life left in this lovely piece.
