A truly rare gem from Tom Ford's Fall 2003 collection for Gucci. The sister of this coat in black was featured on the runway. This warm blonde petite gris and fox iteration is absolutely decadent. The caramel color-way is matched with a supple cognac leather tie-belt. If you know us, you know we only (rarely!) consider offering a fur unless it is exceptional. This coat is pure luxury from its impeccable sought-after provenance to it's expert construction of the finest materials. Fully lined in a high-sheen cream silk twill with an oversized "YSL" monogram in the center of the lining. A fabulous touch!
The collar is composed of fox fur and the body of the coat is a delicious tan to caramel color petit gris fur. The full length silhouette is one of Tom Ford's many nods to the sexy and decadent peacocking of the '70s. The golden fox fur collar is the same fur as the infamous Old Hollywood style fox fur stole that became an editorial and campaign favorite of the collection with celebrities such as Rihanna and Lil Kim styling the archival piece. The attention to detail throughout the construction sets this tiers above just another fabulous fur coat. The fitted cuffs are ribbed with vertical top stitching as is the waist. The leather belt is attached near the opening at the waist for an cinching emphasis. Masterfully tailored. Pockets at the hip lined in white felted cotton.

Overall excellent condition with the fur feeling supple and not dry. Light stain to the lower portion of the silk lining as shown in the photos.
Labelled a FR 36. About a US 2. The silhouette is a tailored, fitted style and would be recommended for a US 2 or smaller. Measurements taken flat with the belt tied.
