Meow! This Jean Paul Gaultier is a collectors dream. This dynamite leopard print denim dress originates from the Spring/Summer 1989 'Travel Around the World in 168 Outfits' collection. This spectacular little number is under the designer's Junior Gaultier line. Crafted from a ferocious leopard print cotton denim, the form-fitting mini dress features a corseted underwire bust, spaghetti straps, silhouette defining princess seams, and an adjustable lacing detail that extends all the way down the back of the dress with a modesty panel. The branded gold toned buttons eliminate the need to re-lace the back every time - combining function with beauty. We picture this bombshell moment with a big bouncy blow-out, a bold lip, and a beauty mark. Muah!
Excellent condition. Faint yellowing to the interior that is not noticeable from the exterior. One button hole has been mended and is pictured in the 14th photo.
Made in Italy. 100% cotton.
Labelled a size 44. Best fits a US 6. With the current lacing, the sizes are not adjustable. With an alternate lace/cord, the size may be adjustable an extra inch or two due to the matching modesty panel beneath the lacings and would then fit a US 8.
