Holly's Harp Late 1970's Green Velvet Devore Gown and Cape Ensemble

Magical and mystifying witchy ensemble from Holly's Harp. Holly's Harp was a favorite of rockstars and their beaus in this romantic era of late 1970's. The obvious Holly's Harp client to reference here is Stevie Nicks, of course.

The cape has been crafted from a sheer silk gauze in raven black with velvet devore in a moody shade of olive green. The velvet forms a romantic foliate pattern that is complimented by intricate cording and lustrous black beads that dangle along the shoulders and hem. Fastened at the neck by two ties, the cape has been expertly draped in the back to create a tapered high-low silhouette. 

The seductive slip style dress is composed of a black knit fabric and features a romantic overlay detail of the same velvet devore of the cape. Featuring four satin spaghetti straps that give the dress a sleek and sultry look, there are also slits and ties located at each underarm to eliminate the need for a bulky zipper. The attention to detail extends to the spectacular lace labels sewn to the interior of each garment.

Straight silhouette. A lovely nod to the moody glamour of the 1920's.
