Comme Des Garcons Fall/Winter 2002 Ready-To-Wear black wool wrap around cardigan sweater dress. A blend of sleek minimalist design with an avant-garde twist (no pun intended!). Lightweight knit wool with a wraparound button design. Asymmetrical silhouette. An excellent representation of the 2000's Rei Kawakubo era. Could be worn as a dress or a classic cardigan. Unlined. Documented on the runway. Great condition.

Suzy Menkes for the International Herald Tribune wrote, "…the designer created with knitting needles the asymmetric, off centre tailoring of her formative fashion years. So a jacket would be twisted like a corkscrew around the body, fastened with yellow buttons, which were as askew as the pockets.
