Karl Lagerfeld for Chloe Fall/Winter 1993 black velvet 2 piece dress. Kate Moss wore the flouncy twin of this dress on the Fall 1993 Chloe runway. In 1992 Lagerfeld had once more come back to design for the Chloe label after two previous stints at the brand. This collection was full of romantic, neo-victorian inspirations. Soft black cotton velveteen and black braided floral motif crochet. The inner high-neck blouse is one piece, and the outer dress the second. Crochet panels on dress and blouse all backed in thin crepe silk chiffon. Button bodice and hidden zip closure down the front of the dress. Excellent condition.
