1920's Re-purposed Lavender Camisole with Hand-Embroidery

This is what we love to see in the vintage world- modern re-tellings of the stories of yesterday! Straight from a 1920s silent film, opening scene of a royal woman in a smoky boudoir, reclining on imported robes- only gloves and THIS! The silky embroidery is a floral paradise, regal, delicate and truly a work of art. This piece defies time- it resembles Y2K babydoll Galliano, D&G Lingerie.. etc. The masters of today were inspired by this! We can assume that only the zipper and front trim/straps were added to this original silk base. Scalloped hem, some minor discoloration throughout (mostly dye darker hues of purple and lighter hues of pink) - not bad for this 100 year old gal. A time capsule and piece of modern art. Unlabeled.
