What a fun and modern take on the shift dresses of the 20s. Marc Jacobs incorporates a silver lame and a drop waist to give the perfect nod to an era. We can see this as an upscale nod to Joan of Arc, with its metal armor appearance and subtle toga goddess silhouette. Different metal-thread weaving techniques throughout this piece. The front and back are a smooth reflective texture and the sides are a rougher, more apparent texture-as if to simulate chainmail. Can accommodate many sizes. Great vintage condition. 52% metal, 48% silk. Interior lining is silk.
