A vibrant winter coat by the great American sportswear designer, Bonnie Cashin. This rare coat features her signature brass turn-lock closures that began appearing in her designs in 1964. This plush coat is just as vibrant as it is functional and warm! The exterior is composed of a golden shade of ochre yellow suede with a soft grey lamb shearling lining. The shearling contrasts the bright suede at the collar and the collar with the option to fold the cuffs over for an extra peak at the furry lining. The suede exterior at the front is constructed with sharp geometric seam lines at the chest to the waist with enclosed pockets that sit below the breast. The back of the coat features Cashin's iconic envelope pockets with turn-lock closures. The brass pocket hardware sits just above the hip bone. There is a slit at the back with a hidden button placket. There are four turn-lock buttons at the front.

Very good vintage condition with imperfection throughout. Gentle signs of wear to the suede at the front at the sides of the chest. Light splatter mark at the lower back of the jacket near the slit. There is a tape mark on the right upper arm. There is a slight brash tarnish stain on the upper front left shoulder under the lower lapel.  Price reflects condition.
