1980s Issey Miyake burgundy and brick red grid plaid skirt and blouse ensemble. While the designer is famous for his inventive pleats, his plaids are nothing short of genius. Composed of a soft, lightweight, and durable blend of 80% hemp and 20% rayon. The earthy tactile element puts you at ease. The tunic silhouette features a high boat-neckline, kimono sleeve and wide/open waist hem. Mid-length skirt with a figure-hugging curve at the waist and diagonally pleated draping down the front. Higher hem in the front than the back. Side zip and button closure. Unlined. Excellent condition.
