A masterpiece of needle work. Edwardian era example of how gorgeous hand done Irish crochet truly is.  Consider the multitude of hours hunched over with only candle light. An incredible work of art and important piece of cultural history - that is still sturdy and wearable!  Probably had a matching skirt but is beautiful and relevant as a tunic top. Excellent condition  100% cotton.
