Incredible time capsule of one of fashion's most flamboyant eras. Denim appliquéd button up circa 1970's by Limbo. Limbo, the renowned vintage clothing shop on St. Marks Place in the East Village during the late 1960s and early 1970s, was started by Marty Freedman in 1965. Freedman would enlist artist to embellish distressed jeans with leather scraps, elevating them to wearable works of art that appealed to his clientele of rockstars. Three in one— wearable as a shirt, jacket, or micro mini. Hippie chic holy grail! Leather and leather patchwork all over with varying adorable prints. Enamel flower snap buttons. Wear commensurate with age and love.
