Early 1930s Cotton Lace Ensemble
A true gem and nearly 100 years old- not many ladies this old look THIS good. The modernity of this piece should be noted- many prominent Y2K designers used a similar silhouette to create a low rise flounce-skirt and skirted top (think Blumarine). This ensemble truly defies time. The condition alone, in its nearly immaculate grandeur, is notable- additionally, the flirty form of the skirts maintain. Hook clasp down right side skirt and shirt. Sunflower and floral lace pattern. Cream/eggshell mix. Cotton lace. As with any hundred year old, light age spots are present, small brownish spots are scattered but not noticeable from afar. Two front pockets are the added charm of this piece. Unlabeled. Approximate US size 0/2.
