A gown truly fit for a mermaid. Radiant late 1980's/early 1990's evening ensemble consisting of a strapless mermaid gown and a cropped matching bolero with purple and teal geometric sequins. This ensemble is composed of a black netted tulle and lined in a sheer chiffon. Both the gown and jacket are beautifully embellished with metallic embroidery bordering the thousands of purple and teal sequins that create a retro mid-century pattern.
The show-stopping gown features a strapless sweetheart neckline and seductive mermaid silhouette that hugs the hips and waist then flares out at the knee. Va-va-voom! The fully acetate lined interior is complete with a boned corselette and petersham (inner belt) to secure a seamless silhouette. Red carpet and black tie guest approved vintage glamour.
