Lopez Knudson Bespoke Gold Lamé and Black Lace Cheongsam-Inspired Cocktail Dress

Custom designed by New York designer Lopez Knudson, circa 2010s. As with many Knudson pieces, this was made using recycled antique fabric. The intricate lame trim that defines the collar and cross neck of the cheongsam appears to be authentic 30's lame. Thus, this dress is not only a gorgeous ode to the cheongsam, but a throwback to a golden era. The glimmering gold body is gorgeous and perfect for a cocktail event. Two slits on the shoulder sleeves add to the sexy appeal. Mesh lace on golden body and trim along neck and striped along the back. Excellent vintage condition, some stress marks on mesh, not noticeable from afar. Back zipper. Estimated US size 6. Excellent condition.
