Late 1940s/Early 1950s Black Silk Velvet Blazer Heavily Embellished w/Soutache

This amazing New Look blazer commands an audience with its swirling, intricate soutache patterns and sexy black velvet. A bold 40s/50s silhouette outlines pointed shoulders and a cinched waist. Beading throughout. Soutache adds to the dimension of this amazing piece. Good vintage condition, intact and excellent condition pink silk interior with structure. One velvet button missing, last one at bottom. Does not alter the overall appearance of the piece. Right sleeve has multiple pinhole velvet loss patches (approximately 6 tiny holes) which may have been places were beads once were or perhaps friction holes. Last photo shows size approximate to a US dime.
