This is a truly iconic piece from Scottish designer Bill Gibbs' first solo collection, Autumn/Winter 1972. What can we say that can't be said in photos? This is a museum-worthy piece. The intricate detailing of ethno-inspired patterns, the leather craftsmanship, the gorgeous embroidered bee on either collar... the details all around are stunning. Silk lined, half belt with metal buckle at back, adorable enamel bee buttons. This is a collectable piece of wearable art! Excellent vintage condition, supple leather, listed size 12, modern US 4/6.
