Rei Kawakubo for Comme des Garcons Spring 1997 ivory body clinging dress. The collection titled "Body Meets Dress, Dress Meets Body" came to be known as the "lumps and bumps" show. The show featured tube-like dress with varying seam-work, each one with a unique silhouette. Some of the dresses were stuffed with lumpen filler to sculpt the body into unconventional silhouettes. Cowl neckline with an asymmetric drop-waist. Unlined, no slip.
Label has a "SAMPLE" stamp. Very good condition.
Measurements are approximate and the fabric has a decent amount of stretch.
