A rare piece of fashion history to wear or to keep in your archives. 1920's black cotton bathing costume with hand-stitched floral embroidery. Scoop neck with a straight silhouette and built in shorts. Hand sewn orange and blue flowers with green leaves. An adorable piece to style as a summer playsuit. Double buttons at either shoulder, step in style. Fully lined. Once had a belt that has been separated from the suit sometime in the last 100 years. Otherwise excellent condition for the age.
Based on the measurement of the leg opening, this piece would best fit up to a size Medium. Meant to be worn loose.
