Saint Laurent Rive Gauche cocktail dress from the Fall 1983 collection. Black silk crepe with ruching down the front that gathers to the rhinestone lined zipper. Yves was said to have been inspired by Rita Hayworth and the glamour of the 1940's for this collection just as he was for the previous Spring 1983 collection. The shoulders are gently padded in the empowering style of the 1940's silhouette, not the overwhelming late 1980's style.
Excellent condition. Best fits based on the hip measurement. The size label has been removed, but the best assumed fit is a US size 2 or 4.
