A rare piece from Donatella Versace's second collection for the house, Fall/Winter 1998. The campaign around this iconic collection is simply too distractingly sexy and elegant to include in this post, so we will let you go down the rabbit hole yourselves.
This sleek black silk sheath is elevated into Versace glitz with rhinestone shoulder straps accented with bursts of bead starbursts that have the look (but not feel!) of glam barbed wire. So '90s, right? So elegant in its simplicity. Fully lined with a built-in mesh bodysuit to keep lines clean and keep dress in place. Excellent condition.
