A remarkable Victorian era capelet. Exquisite structural tailoring sculpts the wearers shoulders and informs the posture. Black ribbon fringe detailing at hem. Brown leaf motif soutache embroidery in shades of brown and black. Fully lined in matching silk. Slight discoloration and imperfections commensurate with age. Overall good condition, especially considering the 100+ years it has been on this earth.
